This is a great fit for someone early in their real estate career — or coming from another client-facing field — who wants structure, mentorship, and a team around them instead of building a book of business alone. What You’ll Do Manage buyer and seller relationships from first conversation through closing Host showings and open houses across our Northwest Suburbs and North Shore coverage area Prospect and generate new business through your sphere of influence, referrals, and team-provided leads Prepare comparative market analyses and help clients price and position their homes Negotiate offers and manage contracts through inspection, appraisal, and closing Keep clients informed at every step — proactively, not just when asked Coordinate with the team's marketing and transaction support to stay focused on clients, not paperwork Stay current on local inventory, pricing trends, and neighborhood knowledge across the coverage area What We’re Looking For Active Illinois Real Estate Broker license, or actively pursuing licensure Bachelor's degree required 1–3 years of professional experience (real estate experience preferred, but a strong record in another client-facing or sales role will be considered) Reliable transportation and the flexibility to show homes evenings and weekends Strong written and verbal communication skills Comfortable learning and working in CRM, MLS, and e-signature tools A valid driver's license and the ability to travel throughout the Chicagoland service area What a Great Evan Group Broker Looks Like Beyond the resume — this is the mindset and day-to-day behavior we’re looking for: Responsive by instinct — a client or teammate text doesn't sit for hours; urgency is a habit, not an exception. Resilient — treats a slow week or a lost deal as part of the job, not a verdict, and gets back to prospecting the next day. Coachable — takes feedback from more experienced teammates and actually applies it, instead of defending the first way they tried something. Team-first — shares a lead or an opportunity when it's a better fit for a teammate, and shows up for the group's wins the same way they show up for their own. Always learning — keeps studying the market, the contracts, and the craft well past the day they got licensed. Compensation Commission-based compensation with a competitive split.
